Medicube Exosome Shot 2000 vs 7500 vs 25000: What the Label Says

The Medicube Zero Exosome Shot is a cosmetic ampoule sold in three strengths named 2000, 7500 and 25000. All three lists include hydrolyzed sponge and exosome-related entries, and only the 25000 list gives amounts for them.

We cannot verify the amount, the source or any result. This is a label comparison, not a recommendation.

What the maker calls it

On its US store, Medicube presents the Zero Exosome Shot as a spicule facial serum for pore and skin texture care, and describes it as a tingling ampoule with a micro-sized, needle-shaped booster. The page headline reads "2000, 7500, 25000 PPM". Versions are named Mild (2000), Strong (7500) and Intense (25000), and a bundle of the first two is also sold.

In the full page text we captured, nothing says which ingredient the headline number measures. The 25000 version's ingredient list gives its two exosome entries as 154 ppm and 10 ppm, so the number in the name is not an exosome amount that we could confirm.

2000 vs 7500 vs 25000 on the label

From the maker's US product page, read October 15, 2026. Names are the maker's own.
VersionExosome-related entries in its ingredient listAmounts given
Mild (2000)Lactobacillus Extracellular VesiclesNone
Strong (7500)Lactobacillus Extracellular Vesicles; Milk ExosomesNone
Intense (25000)Lactobacillus Extracellular Vesicles; Milk Exosomes154 ppm and 10 ppm

Common to the three lists, besides water and glycols: niacinamide, hydrolyzed sponge, adenosine, panthenol, citric acid, betaine salicylate and gluconolactone. The maker's headline refers to AHA, BHA and PHA, and these three entries are commonly classed that way. The 25000 list also includes ceramide NP and three peptides.

So the difference between 2000 and 7500 on paper is the extra "Milk Exosomes" entry on the 7500 list. The page does not say how much of it is present.

The maker's tests

The page reports percentages from a consumer use study described as a 20-person survey and from a self test report. We have not seen the underlying reports, and the page says results may vary. We do not repeat the percentages here.

Usage notes on the maker's page

  • Apply after cleansing and press the product in. The page offers a gentler routine for beginners and a standard routine for the whole face.
  • Avoid the area near the eyes and lips.
  • Patch test on sensitive or delicate skin.
  • Tingling, redness, itching and heat are described as a normal reaction.
  • If you are new to spicules, the maker does not recommend using the product with its own AGE-R devices.

Our view: stop and ask a clinician if a reaction is strong or does not fade. Do not use it on skin that has just been needled, at home or elsewhere, unless a clinic tells you to. Ask a doctor first if you are pregnant or have a health condition.

The PDRN Pink Collagen Exosome Shot

Medicube also sells a PDRN Pink Collagen Exosome Shot in Mild (2000) and Strong (7500). Its ingredient list includes sodium DNA, which is how PDRN appears on labels, together with lactobacillus extracellular vesicles, milk exosomes, hydrolyzed sponge, retinol and alcohol. See exosome vs PDRN for what the studies say about PDRN.

Is it FDA approved?

The page presents the Medicube Exosome Shot as skincare, and the FDA does not approve cosmetics before they are sold (see the FDA status guide). No exosome product is FDA approved. (FDA overview of cosmetics law; FDA notice, December 6, 2019) The studies we cite are about exosome preparations in general. None is about this product.

We have no affiliate relationship with Medicube and this page has no purchase links.

Quick answers

What do the numbers 2000 and 7500 mean?

The maker's headline calls them PPM, but in the full page text we captured nothing says what they measure. On the 25000 version the ingredient list gives the exosome entries as 154 ppm and 10 ppm, so the number in the name is not an exosome amount that we could confirm.

Is the Medicube Exosome Shot the same as exosome therapy?

No. It is an over-the-counter cosmetic. Exosome therapy refers to a procedure done in a clinic.

Can I use it after microneedling?

We advise against using it on freshly needled skin at home. Ask a clinic first.
